Published on Monday 14 September 2026

Officers investigating an arson attack in Heanor have released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

A van was set alight in Holmes Street at approximately 3.45am on Sunday 6 September.

It is reported that a man accompanied by a dog opened the vehicle’s door and set it alight, while another man, who was with a bicycle, stood watching.
