The Sticky Beak Blog Named Leading Hospitality & Travel Review Platform 2026 - UK
Derbyshire-based food, hospitality and travel website The Sticky Beak Blog is celebrating after being named Leading Hospitality & Travel Review Platform 2026 – UK in the LUXlife Hospitality Awards.
The national recognition comes at an exciting time for the independent platform, with its Facebook page recently passing 10,000 followers and recording more than 940,000 views during its latest reporting period.
Founded by Angie and Paul Curran-Bilbie, The Sticky Beak Blog shares restaurant and hospitality reviews, travel experiences, industry news and destination guides. Its core coverage focuses on Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire, alongside an expanding collection of UK and international travel features.
The LUXlife Hospitality Awards are now in their eleventh year and recognise businesses and individuals working across hospitality and travel. Winners are selected through an independent, merit-based research and evaluation process, considering areas including service quality, reputation and overall performance within their field.
The Sticky Beak Blog was selected as Leading Hospitality & Travel Review Platform 2026 – UK, recognising its contribution to helping readers discover places to eat, drink, stay and explore.
Angie and Paul said:
“We’re absolutely thrilled to receive this award. The Sticky Beak Blog has always been driven by our genuine enthusiasm for hospitality, food and travel, and by our desire to share the places and experiences we believe our readers will enjoy.
“To receive national recognition from LUXlife is a wonderful achievement, particularly as it comes just as our Facebook community has passed 10,000 followers and our content has reached more than 940,000 views.
“We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who reads, follows and shares our work, as well as the restaurants, hotels, attractions, tourism organisations and independent businesses that welcome us through their doors. We’re looking forward to building on this momentum and continuing to showcase great hospitality both locally and further afield.”
The award adds to a period of continued growth for The Sticky Beak Blog, which now attracts around 140,000 website visitors annually and has a combined social media audience of more than 50,000 followers.
Alongside its latest dining reviews and hospitality news, the website features evergreen guides covering everything from Sunday lunches, breakfasts and afternoon teas to dog-friendly dining, hotel stays and travel destinations.
