Two-Week Closure Planned for Ripley Road in Ambergate
Ripley Road in Ambergate will close for two weeks in September while essential gas main replacement work takes place.
Derbyshire County Council has confirmed that the A610 Ripley Road will be closed from its junction with the A6 for approximately 500 metres.
The closure will be in place 24 hours a day from Monday, September 14 until Sunday, September 27, 2026.
An alternative route will be available via the A610, A38 and A6, and vice versa.
Access to properties along the affected section of road will be maintained whenever reasonably possible. The road may reopen earlier if the work is completed ahead of schedule.
