Patrols have been put in place following an arson attack at a home in Langley Mill.
The incident took place in Minkley Drive at around 2.45am on Wednesday 13 May and saw two men set fire to a car. Nobody was physically hurt; however, two properties were damaged.
Police believe the incident was targeted and say there is no wider risk to the public. An increased police presence will remain in the area and residents with concerns are encouraged to speak to officers.
The two suspects, who were wearing dark clothing with hooded tops, entered the street from Cromford Road before later being seen leaving back onto Cromford Road and running off into an alley leading onto Argyle Street.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time, particularly anyone with CCTV footage from Cromford Road or Argyle Street, as well as motorists with dashcam footage.
