Easter Bunny Returns to Swanwick with Egg Trail, Gifts for Children and Free Cuppa for Adults
Families are invited to celebrate Easter at Swanwick Junction as the Easter Bunny returns to greet visitors at the Midland Railway – Butterley over the Easter weekend. Children will be able to meet the Bunny, receive a small gift, and take part in a special Easter Egg Trail around the site.
Young visitors can follow the Swanwick Easter Egg Trail, searching for hidden eggs around the station and solving a secret message along the way. Activity sheets, including puzzles, mazes and colouring, will also be available for children to enjoy during their visit.
Every child who meets the Easter Bunny will receive a small gift, along with a sweet treat, making it a memorable experience for younger visitors.
While the children are busy exploring and meeting the Bunny, adults can relax with a complimentary cup of tea or coffee. Families can also make use of the children’s playground and enjoy time together at the Swanwick Junction site.
Jo Metcalf, Events and Marketing Manager, said:
"Each year we create something fun and interactive for families visiting over Easter. The trail encourages children to explore the site while enjoying a bit of Easter magic."
The Midland Railway – Butterley offers visitors the chance to enjoy heritage train rides and explore the Swanwick Junction site, home to a range of railway attractions including miniature and narrow-gauge railways, model railways and several unique railway museums.
The Easter Bunny will be appearing on Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.
