Amber Valley Christmas bin collection dates
Waste collection days will change over Christmas and New Year - please check your 2021-22 calendar or use our bin collection dates look-up page here: https://www.ambervalley.gov.uk/rubb.../bin-collection-dates/ Your next collection date will be shown, along with a link to your collection calendar for the entire year.
Refuse
On the first collection after Christmas AVBC will collect: your refuse bin and two extra bags of waste; or up to six purple bags of refuse (if you have a bag collection instead of bin collection)
Recycling
Extra recycling will be collected throughout the year. Please check the waste collection policy here:

Recycling centres
You can take your extra waste and recycling to Loscoe household waste recycling centre which is open for business every day from 8.30am to 6pm except on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Please check the list of what they can and cannot accept before you go.
Christmas tree recycling
Recycle (compost) your real Christmas tree by taking it to Loscoe household waste recycling centre, it will then be composted along with other garden materials.
