Alfreton Town Council supports Community Warriors
At the June meeting, the Town Council was pleased to make a grant of £750.00 to Community Warriors which will be used to purchase boxing bags for ‘Community Box Fit’. Box Fit helps people from low-income backgrounds access fun fitness in low lit rooms to aid self-confidence. Councillor Hannah Jowett-Frost said “The importance of fitness in our community has never been more important. It is fantastic that we can help support a community group like The Warriors who support adults and children alike with fun fitness”.
