This Christmas in Belper
This year the open air Christmas Carol Service has sadly been cancelled due to the current Covid-19 pandemic. However so as not to disappoint those that like to have a sing song, a Carol Service with a difference has been created.
The Community is being encouraged to sing on their doorstep, in their garden or from their armchair. A video link will be available on the Town Council's and St Peter's Church's web site so that you can enjoy a virtual version of carols recorded by various local groups/bands and readings by Reverend Anne Stratton. The video will be available from 8pm on Christmas Eve and a bell will be rung at St Peter's Church to start the singalong off.
