Storage site in picturesque Little Eaton village to go up for auction
A large plot of land, currently used as a caravan storage site, in the village of Little Eaton, near Derby, is to be auctioned this month with a £90,000 guide price.
The 0.8 acre site close to the A38 has spaces for 26 caravans as well as 15 lock-up storage units. It currently generates a £6,000 annual rental income.
The land will feature in the next live stream auction held by BTG Eddisons Property Auctions on 26 March.
BTG Eddisons Property Auctions is a national auction business formed by uniting the regional brands Pugh, SDL Property Auctions, and Mark Jenkinson. It now hosts a three-day national auction event every month.
Andrew Parker, partner and auctioneer at BTG Eddisons Property Auctions, said: “This site has a lot of investment potential. It’s in a great location in the sought-after village of Little Eaton, just a 10-minute drive from Derby, and there’s a wide range of new uses it could be put to, subject to planning consent.”
He added: “At the moment it is a good little business in its own right, generating rental income from caravan storage and lock-up units. However, there is clear scope for a new owner to enhance the site further, for example through the addition of steel storage containers to increase capacity.”
Little Eaton is a popular residential village on the northern edge of Derby. It has good road links via the nearby A38, providing access to the wider East Midlands road network.
