Heanor Hair Salon Shortlisted for National Awards
A Heanor high-street hair salon has been shortlisted in two categories at the UK Hair and Beauty Awards 2026.
Go Curl Go, based on Market Street, has been named a finalist in both Best New Salon and Best Specialist Salon. The salon specialises exclusively in wavy, curly and coily hair textures and has built a strong reputation for its personalised approach to curly hair care.
Owner and stylist Miriam Smith-Renieblas said being shortlisted was an honour and recognition of the work she has put into building a specialist service and a supportive curly-hair community in the town.
Since opening, Go Curl Go has attracted clients from across the region and beyond, bringing additional footfall to Heanor’s high street. The business also occupies a previously empty shop unit, which has been restored and refurbished as part of the salon’s launch.
The UK Hair and Beauty Awards celebrate professional standards and innovation across the industry, with finalists selected from a large national entry pool.
Winners will be announced later in the year.
