Belper Salon Owner Shortlisted for Two National Hair & Beauty Awards 2026
A Belper business owner is celebrating after being shortlisted for two national categories in the Hair and Beauty Awards UK 2026, putting the town firmly on the map in the hair and beauty industry.
Sal, owner of Goddess Rising Hair Extensions, has been announced as a finalist for Hair Extension Specialist of the Year 2026 and Specialist Salon of the Year 2026.
Based on the Market Place in Belper, Goddess Rising Hair Extensions is a luxury salon specialising in premium hair extensions and mesh integration for female hair loss.
Sal has over nine years experience specialising in hair extensions, including working at one of the UK’s top hair extension and mesh integration salons. Sal’s approach sets her apart from traditional salons, offering a calming, holistic space designed to support women not just in how they look, but in how they feel.
Sal said:
“For me, it’s about more than just hair. So many of the women who walk through my door are going through big life changes or confidence knocks. I focus on creating a space where they can relax, feel supported and leave feeling like the best version of themselves. Being recognised nationally for doing what I love feels incredibly special.”
The salon blends high-end hair transformations with a serene, nurturing environment using soft lighting, grounding fragrances and energy-cleansing rituals. Clients often describe the experience as “therapy with fabulous hair at the end”.
Sal added:
“It’s amazing to bring some recognition back to Belper. This is a brilliant, thriving town full of incredible small businesses, and I’m proud to represent our community on a national stage.”
The winners of the Hair and Beauty Awards UK 2026 will be announced next year.
