Ambergate sales Reps cars event September 21st
Sunday September 21st sees the Great British Car Journey at Derwent Works, Ambergate, DE56 2HE, host cars from the days of the sales rep, when Ford and Vauxhall battled for company car sales. From Cortina to Mondeo, and Cavalier to Vectra these were the mainstay of corporate fleets but don't forget the role played by BMW, Citroen, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault, Toyota and VW in shaping the '70s, '80s and '90s fleet sector.
Visitors can not only see a wide variety of models, with a number of owners' clubs attending this event, but can also tour the museum with its full interactive experience, taking them through the history of the British motor industry from the early 1900s to the current day, with over 140 cars on display, featuring some for the most popular and iconic British cars, family favourites and forgotten heroes.
