Ambergate Austin-Rover, BMC and British Leyland event June 22nd
Sunday June 22nd sees the Great British Car Journey at Derwent Works, Ambergate, DE56 2HE, welcome a host of British cars from Austin, Morris, Rover and MG, in fact any car under the BMC, BL or Austin Rover banner.
Visitors can not only see a wide variety of models, with a number of owners' clubs attending this event, but can also listen to expert speakers on the history of these cars and tour the museum with its full interactive experience, taking them through the history of the British motor industry from the early 1900s to the current day, with over 140 cars on display, featuring some for the most popular and iconic British cars, family favourites and forgotten heroes.
