Ambergate Classic Car event this Sunday
This Sunday (May 25th) sees 1950s and '60 classic cars descend upon the Great British Car Journey at Derwent Works, Ambergate, DE56 2HE, for the Fabulous '50s and Swinging '60s event.
Visitors can not only see a wide variety of cars from that period, with a number of owners' clubs attending this event, but can also tour the museum with its full interactive experience, taking them through the history of the British motor industry from the early 1900s to the current day, with over 140 cars on display, featuring some for the most popular and iconic British cars, family favourites and forgotten heroes.
The May 25th event itself features, and invites owners of, some of the best-loved cars of the 1950s and '60s, from family saloons to roadsters, estates and coupes from both British and foreign manufacturers, so there's something for every enthusiast. Come along and see, or better still bring your own 1950s or '60s car of any make and model.
