Seaside Fun at Crich Tramway Village
Looking for something to keep the children entertained this half term? Crich Tramway Village’s Seaside Fun event could be just the thing.
This is good old- fashioned seaside fun in the charming countryside setting of the National Tramway Museum in Derbyshire.
The event runs from Saturday 24th to Friday 30th May with various activities throughout the week including Punch ‘n’ Judy, a flea circus, funfair, crafts and on Sunday, bingo.
For the little ones, there is a purpose made ‘beach’ where they can build their own sandcastles, and the face painter and balloon modeler are bound to be popular.
The vintage trams, for which Crich Tramway Village is renowned, will be running, and if the weather is good, there will be some open top trams from which to take in the magnificent views over the Derwent Valley.
Event Manager, Cand Bell, said:
“This event has everything for families who enjoy a great day out with a variety of activities in a beautiful, safe countryside setting.
What’s more, visitors who have valid return tickets may use them for this event as many times as they wish, and rides on our vintage trams add to the excitement of the day.”
