Published on Thursday 21 November 2024

Heanor, Derbyshire on the 23rd November Salcare and Heanor Town Football Club are proud to announce their partnership in support of the White Ribbon Campaign, a global movement dedicated to ending domestic abuse against women and girls. This powerful alliance will be officially marked at Heanor Town FC’s next home game, where all players, coaching staff, and club owners will unite to pledge their commitment to this critical cause.

A United Front Against Domestic Abuse

The signing of the White Ribbon Campaign by Heanor Town FC symbolises a collective stance against domestic violence, reinforcing the club’s commitment to fostering a community where everyone feels safe, respected, and valued. By joining the campaign, the club pledges to promote awareness, challenge harmful behaviours, and work actively to eradicate domestic abuse.
"We are proud to support the White Ribbon Campaign and stand with Salcare in their vital work to support victims of domestic abuse," said Glen Clarence, First Team Manager of Heanor Town FC. "Football is more than just a game; it’s a community. Together, we can be a powerful force for change, showing zero tolerance for violence against women and girls."
