Appeal after attempted burglary in Heanor

Police Officers are appealing for the public’s help after an attempted burglary at a house in Heanor.


The incident took place just after 9pm on 18 December at a house in Starthe Bank.

A group of men attempted to the force their way into the house but were stopped by the homeowner- nobody was physically hurt.

Officers are now keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and may have dashcam footage or CCTV that may have captured any footage that may be able to help with enquiries.
