Proposed Move For Codnor Post Office To Restore Services & With Daily Opening & Longer Hours
Post Office is proposing to relocate Codnor Post Office to Go Local, 47 Jessop Street, Codnor, Ripley, DE5 9RN.

The previous branch at Holmfield Chemist, 1 High Street, Codnor, Ripley, DE5 9QB closed in July 2022 due to the resignation of the Postmaster.
We are pleased to inform you that a new Postmaster has been appointed, who wants to incorporate Codnor Post Office into their local convenience store. There would be a Post Office counter alongside the retail counter.
The proposed opening hours are Monday to Sunday: 7.30am – 9pm. This would be an extra 48 hours of Post Office service a week than previously including all-day Sunday and Saturday afternoon, plus earlier opening and much later closing.
Consultation on the proposed move will close on 20 January 2023. Customers can share their views during the consultation online at postofficeviews.co.uk with the branch code 479207.
