American Cars at Heage Windmill
An overcast start to the day did nothing to prevent the exuberance of the American vehicles setting the exciting and colourful tone of the day.
There they were, the Buicks, Chevrolets, Mustangs, Cadillacs, Harley Davidsons etc, each one powerful and pristine, and an American police car presence ensured best behaviour.
The Mill Tour Guides were kept busy as were the Visitor Centre and Burger Van. Bric a Brac, Tombola and Auto-Jumble added further interest.
Several families picnicked and there was a good family atmosphere.
Many thanks to Attila Csorba and his helpers for helping in the management of this very busy and successful day.
Another great event at Heage Windmill.
Don’t miss Tractor Day on Sunday, September 4th.
