Croots Farm Shop unveils fresh new look

Published on Thursday 27 May 2021

Popular Derbyshire farm shop Croots has unveiled a fresh new look as part of its rebranding.

The farm shop at Duffield has introduced new signage, created a new logo, and redecorated its café and the outside of the store. Old family photos have been framed and hung in the café to reflect the history behind the farm shop.

Run by Kay Croot, whose family have farmed at Farnah House Farm since the 1960s, and her husband Steve, Croots opened 13 years ago. The new look is being unveiled just as the café re-opens following the lifting of lockdown restrictions.

“We’ve gradually been introducing the new look of Croots Farm Shop over the past few months, starting with a new website,” said Kay. “We’ve been serving our shop customers throughout the pandemic, offering a variety of ways to shop including click and collect, but we’re thrilled that we can now invite our customers to enjoy our refurbished café. We love the new look and hope our customers do too.”

Croots Farm Shop has introduced a new café menu, which features some old favourites as well as new salads, quiches, loaded jacket potato skins and other items. Croots best-selling home-made breakfasts are back, along with the popular afternoon teas.

Specialising in supplying top quality local food and drink, Croots offers products from more than 40 producers within a 50-mile radius. It also makes a wide range of products in-house, including sweet and savoury bakery items.

In addition, Croots has a well-stocked butchery which has won numerous awards, as well as a deli and cheese counter.

The shop’s current opening hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays, while the café open hours are Monday to Saturday from 9am to 4pm and from 10am to 3.30pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
