Man suffers head injury during Alfreton assault

Witnesses are being sought following a robbery in Alfreton.


At about 9am on Friday 2 April, a 46-year-old man was at the corner of George Street and High Street when he was approached by two men and a woman.

They assaulted him and stole cash from him. He suffered head injuries and was treated in hospital.

Police understand from witnesses that the assault happened in the road and several drivers may have seen what happened but have yet to come forward.
