Step into Christmas with Heanor’s Christmas Lights Switch On
Join us for a magical day in the heart of Heanor as we celebrate the festive season with our Annual Christmas Lights Switch-On
Lights switched on at 5pm - prepare to be dazzled
Saturday 22 November
Heanor Town Centre
From 1:00pm onwards

- Reindeers at St Lawrence Church (1pm–4pm) The perfect photo opportunity 🤳
- Christmas Market – Godfrey Street (from 2pm)
- Pinxton Puppets & stalls (2:30–5pm, St Lawrence Church)
- Santa’s Grotto – Old Fire Station (2pm–5:30pm)
- Santa’s Elves Workshop – Town Hall (2pm–6pm)
- Sing Along with Ellie Dementia Choir (4:15–4:45pm, Market Place)
- Walkabout characters (4-7)
- Fair rides
- Deep Down Brass
- Shirland Welfare Band (from 5pm)
- Balloon Modelling
- Shop Local – High Street shops open until late
- Remembrance Tree with refreshments – Gillotts Funeral Directors (5–7pm)
