Police arrest three people in connection with an assault in Langley Mill
Officers investigating an assault where a man was allegedly stabbed have arrested two youths and a woman in connection with the incident.
At 12.45am officers were called to Station Road in Langley Mill, near to McDonalds, to reports that a man had been stabbed.
Officers attended and a 37 year-old man was taken to the Queens Medical Centre hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A 16 year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause harm.
A 33 year-old woman was later arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause harm and a 17 year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of assault and wounding with intent.
Anyone that may of witnessed the assault or who has further information is asked to contact us on 101 quoting incident number 26 of April 22.
