Derbyshire PCC set to unveil budget plans at public meeting
Derbyshire's Police and Crime Commissioner Hardyal Dhindsa will next week present his funding plans for 2017-18 to members of his Strategic Governance Board.
The PCC's budget arrangements, which will include next year's council tax precept proposals, are among a series of items set to be discussed at the SGB meeting, which will be held on Monday (23 January) at Police HQ in Ripley.
Other items due to be considered by members are a confidence and satisfaction report, hate crime update and performance report.
Members of the public will be able to ask questions to the PCC before the formal discussions begin by tweeting #askSGB in the text of the question. Questions via twitter should arrive no later than 2.15pm on Monday to allow time for a response.
Questions can also be submitted in advance via email to the Chief Executive (David.Peet.16406@Derbyshire.PNN.Police.UK).
Members of the public attending the meeting will be welcome to observe the full meeting but may not take part in it once the Q&A is complete.
The meeting will take place at 2pm at Police HQ, Butterley Hall, Ripley, Derbyshire, DE5 3RS.
