Man charged with arson in connection with fire in Riddings
Derbyshire Police said a man has been charged in connection with a fire at a property in Riddings.
A spokesperson for the force stated they were called to Market Place just after 6.20am on 12 October following reports of a fire.
According to police, 30-year-old Liam Rhodes, of Newlands Road, Riddings, has been charged with arson with intent to endanger life and fraud by false representation.
Derbyshire Police confirmed he appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on 13 October, where the case was adjourned until 10 November. He has been remanded in custody.
