Ambergate Iron Curtain cars event September 14th
Sunday September 14th sees the Great British Car Journey at Derwent Works, Ambergate, DE56 2HE, host cars from behind the Iron Curtain. Cold War classics from Lada, Wartberg, Moskvitch and Trabant will be attending, sporting a certain utilitarian style all of their own.
Visitors can not only see a wide variety of models, with a number of owners' clubs attending this event, but can also tour the museum with its full interactive experience, taking them through the history of the British motor industry from the early 1900s to the current day, with over 140 cars on display, featuring some for the most popular and iconic British cars, family favourites and forgotten heroes.
The September 14th event itself features, and invites owners of all Eastern Bloc models.. Come along and see, or better still bring your own car, for fellow enthusiasts to enjoy and benefit from a discounted admission by clicking the link below.
