Ambergate High Mileage Heroes event August 31st
Sunday August 31st sees the Great British Car Journey at Derwent Works, Ambergate, DE56 2HE, host its High Mileage Heroes event.
This event welcomes cars with high mileages. This could be a car which would be expected to cover great distances , a large diesel executive saloon or 4x4 with mega-miles showing on the clock, or it could be a model which generally would see low annual miles but has for numerous reasons been to the Moon and back ! All these cars are welcome, no matter which model, what age or why they have done it, it's a day for the all mega-milers out there.
Visitors can not only see a wide variety of models, with a number of owners' clubs attending this event, but can also tour the museum with its full interactive experience, taking them through the history of the British motor industry from the early 1900s to the current day, with over 140 cars on display, featuring some for the most popular and iconic British cars, family favourites and forgotten heroes.
The August 31st event itself features, and invites owners of all micro cars. Come along and see, or better still bring your own high mileage car ands set some records, for fellow enthusiasts to enjoy and benefit from a discounted admission by clicking the link below.
