Ambergate Cars of Birmingham event July 20th
Sunday July 20th sees the Great British Car Journey at Derwent Works, Ambergate, DE56 2HE, welcome a host of models from the heartland of UK car production - the West Midlands. The home of Austin, Birmingham was at the centre post-war production with the likes of Land Rover and Jensen close by and in later years the home of the MGF.
Visitors can not only see a wide variety of models, with a number of owners' clubs attending this event, but can also tour the museum with its full interactive experience, taking them through the history of the British motor industry from the early 1900s to the current day, with over 140 cars on display, featuring some for the most popular and iconic British cars, family favourites and forgotten heroes.
The July 20th event itself features, and invites owners of, some of the Britain's best-loved cars. Come along and see, or better still bring your own Brum-built car for fellow enthusiasts to enjoy and benefit from a discounted admission by clicking the link below.
