Codnor Post Office Opens At New Location, Open Daily & Longer Hours
Codnor Post Office has opened (20/2) at a new location - Go Local, 47 Jessop Street, Codnor, Ripley, DE5 9RN. This has restored service to the community.
There is a Post Office counter alongside the retail counter of the convenience store.
The opening hours are Monday to Sunday: 7.30am – 9pm.
This is an extra 48 hours of Post Office service a week than previously including all-day Sunday and Saturday afternoon, plus earlier opening and much later closing.
The previous branch at Holmfield Chemist, 1 High Street, Codnor, Ripley, DE5 9QB, closed in July 2022 due to the resignation of the Postmaster.
Anne Murphy, Post Office Network Provision Lead, said: “We are delighted to have restored Post Office service to Codnor as we know how important a Post Office is to a community.
