Seeking Volunteers at Heage Windmill - An Open Evening For Potential Volunteers
Would you like to join us at Heage Windmill?
We at Heage windmill are having an informal Open Evening, at the windmill, on Thursday 23rd June for anyone considering joining us as a volunteer.
Our friendly team would be delighted to welcome you at any time between 6.30pm and 8.30pm and over complimentary tea, coffee & biscuits, chat about the opportunities available. You can also take a look inside our wonderful 225-year-old mill.
No previous skills are necessary for most roles and full training would be given. You may feel you could join and support our dedicated maintenance team, welcome visitors or guide our popular mill tours. You may wish to consider training as a miller, take part in general support duties or use skills you may already have in fundraising, advertising, personnel or social media. There are opportunities for all.
Make a date in your diary – 23rd June 6.30-8.30pm. We look forward to seeing you at Heage Windmill and hopefully welcoming you on board.
If you are seeking more prior information please contact John Ward on 07398 147464
