Somercotes Community Singers welcome new members
Somercotes Community Singers are appealing for new members to join them after they gave a successful concert on Saturday 30th April.
Somercotes Village Hall was packed and the appreciative audience enjoyed a varied programme. The songs were mainly from shows and included a selection from Evita and Beatles songs.
The soloist was Sarah Bright, who lives in the Peak District. She performed show stopping hits.
The choir practises at Swanwick Methodist Church every Tuesday evening at 7.15pm and welcomes new members, particularly men. Their October concert is on Saturday 22nd October. Anyone interested can pop in and see if they would like to join.
