Alfreton Town Council Provide Support for Derbyshire Childrens Holiday Centre and Oscari
Two grants were approved at the Council meeting on 14th July to Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre for £660.00 to sponsor 2 disadvantaged children from Alfreton who would nor get a holiday otherwise.
For over 125 years, Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Centre has provided children across the county with a week-long holiday at their specialist residential centre on the seafront in Skegness....
Oscari are a community organisation based in Riddings, they organise activities in Riddings and Ironville and during the pandemic have been providing food parcels and meals to families throughout Amber Valley, which have benefited many families in Alfreton. The grant will enable them to purchase a fridge and freezer to aid them in the storage of fresh and frozen produce. For more information on what they offer visit https://www.oscari-online.com/
