CCG Annual Report Published
NHS Derby and Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group has published its first Annual Report and Accounts.
Details about activities, achievements and challenges during 2019/20 are detailed, as is information about the organisation’s finances and how governance requirements are met.
The report is the first for this CCG, since it formed in April 2019 to replace NHS Erewash, Hardwick, North Derbyshire and Southern Derbyshire CCGs.
External auditor, KPMG, was able to sign off financial statements within the report without any recommendations required.
Dr Chris Clayton, Chief Executive of NHS Derby and Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group said: “I’d like to extend our sincere thanks to our staff, GP membership, Governing Body members, public and voluntary sector partners, and other NHS staff across Derbyshire, for their ongoing contribution towards keeping local people healthy and well.
“We really welcome feedback about people’s experience of their county health services, as well as views about how we can best shape health care to meet community and individual needs.
“We’re pleased to share this report to inform and support this ongoing work.”
Clinical Commissioning Groups are required to prepare Annual Report and Accounts in accordance with NHS England and Improvement directions, as outlined in the National Health Service Act (2006, as amended).
