Flytipping At Smalley Mill Road, Horsley
This is the second fly tip at Smalley Mill Road, Horsley, in as many weeks the first fly-tip contained asbestos.
Amber Valley Borough Council would like to hear from anyone who saw anything last weekend, or if anyone in the area paid someone to remove this rubbish will they please make contact to enable them to trace this back to the fly-tipper.
If they can get an exact time and date we may be able to trace the journey of the vehicle through CCTV and ANPR cameras. The AVBC team is working 7 days a week battling an increase in fly-tipping, and littering as well as having a reduced workforce due to Covid19.
Fly-tips of this size are not only damaging to the environment but are taking valuable resources away from where they are needed most.
