Appeal after Ripley assault
Police Officers investigating an assault in Ripley are appealing for information from the public to assist with their enquiries.
The incident is reported to have happened at about 12.20pm on Thursday 16 April in Cedar Avenue.
Three men are believed to have got out of a grey Vauxhall Astra and assaulted two other men who had also got out of a yellow Skoda Fabia.
The driver and passengers of the Astra are described as follows:
Driver: white, 5ft 6ins tall, slim build, with short dark hair. He was wearing a black tracksuit and black trainers.
Passenger 1: white, 5ft 9ins tall, and of slim build. He wore a black tracksuit with a hood, which was pulled up over his face, and grey trainers.
Passenger 2: white, 5ft 11ins tall, wearing a black hooded tracksuit with hood up, a khaki coloured bag with a single strap and black trainers.
The men are all thought to be aged in their early twenties.
Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident, or who was driving nearby at the time and may have dash cam installed.
