Security advice and chance to chat to officers on offer during Relentless crime operation
Officers from Police Safer Neighbourhood policing teams across the county are giving residents a chance to chat about crime concerns and pick up advice on safety and security.
They are being held as part of Operation Relentless which was launched this week with the aim of targeting burglary, vehicle crime and robbery across Derbyshire.
The campaign has been brought in after consultation with the public has shown our communities are concerned about crime, and the risk of having their house or car broken into.
In an effort to tackle this type of crime, as well as robberies, the operation will begin with two weeks’ worth of targeted activity.
Representatives and staff from partnership agencies, including our city, district, borough and county councils, Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service and local housing associations are working with us as part of the campaign, joining us at events and supporting the drive to make Derbyshire safer together.
