Amber Valley launches free Christmas parking for all
Amber Valley Borough Council is reminding residents and visitors, that they can take advantage of its popular annual free Christmas parking initiative, which runs from 1pm each day, for two weeks in all of the borough council’s pay and display car parks and is open to all car park users.
The free parking runs from 1pm each day, from Wednesday 11 December through to Thursday 26 December, and is aimed at encouraging residents and visitors to shop in the borough, to support traders and the local economy.
Simon Gladwin, Assistant Director, commented "The council would like to invite all shoppers to visit the market towns of Alfreton, Belper, Heanor and Ripley to support their local traders and so it is with great pleasure that the free Christmas parking is launched again this year."
Free parking is valid from 1pm each day from 11 December 2019 and ends at midnight on 26 December 2019. Other rules regarding parking in disabled parking bays and maximum stays will still apply.
