Small business Saturday rolls into Heanor
The Small Business Saturday Bus and its team will roll into Heanor on Friday 8 November 2019 to encourage retailers to celebrate their independence and shoppers to stay local and support small businesses.
The bus will be touring the country to highlight the Small Business Saturday campaign which takes place on Saturday 7 December. This coincides with Christmas celebrations in the town.
The promotional bus will be making a whistle-stop visit to Heanor Market Place from 3pm – 4pm, on 8 November, giving independent businesses a platform to promote their offerings and to find our how they can make the most of Small Business Saturday. The bus team will also encourage businesses to find out more about the business support opportunities, including the iDEA Pioneer, helping business to take the next step to success with their free online training program.
Commented Amber Valley Borough Council’s portfolio holder for regeneration, Councillor Ben Bellamy, "Small Business Saturday is just one initiative that we are supporting in our bid to rejuvenate Heanor and promote the long-term viability of town centres throughout the borough. I hope that retailers and shoppers will get behind Small Business Saturday and support local traders as much as they can."
Businesses who would like to meet the SMS Bus Team are invited to register at regeneration@ambervalley.gov.uk or drop in on Friday afternoon to join the team on the blue sofa.
Those wishing to register for the campaign are also invited to visit smallbusinesssaturdayuk.com/small-business-finder.
Small business owners can register to be promoted both before, during and after Small Business Saturday at smallbusinesssaturdayuk.com/my-small-business.
