Police Officers attempt to trace 'wheelbarrow' man in Alfreton
Police Officers investigating a burglary at a business in Limes Avenue, Alfreton, are attempting to trace a man who was seen in the area pushing a wheelbarrow shortly after 3.30am on Sunday, March 31.
They believe that the man, who was seen walking down Limes Avenue towards Bishop Street, may be able to assist with their enquiries and would like to speak to him in connection with the incident.
He is described as around 5ft 7ins tall and was wearing a dark jacket with the hood pulled up over a baseball cap, dark-coloured trousers and Nike Air Max 95 trainers.
The burglarly is understood to have happened sometime after 12.30am on March 31 and a safe containing a large quantity of cash was stolen.
The empty safe was later recovered at Sleetmoor Wood, Swanwick.
Anyone with information about this incident, or who saw a man pushing a wheelbarrow in the area at the time, is asked to get in touch with police using one of the following non-emergency contact methods.
