Appeal for information after livestock attacked by dog in Ripley

Police are appealing for any witnesses to an incident in Ripley where a number of livestock were attacked by a dog.


It happened on Friday, January 18 between 8.30am and 10am on a footpath accessed from Warmwells Lane, at the side of Marehay Cricket Club.

The dog is believed to have caused minor injuries to a number of sheep, as well as causing fatal injuries to a baby alpaca.

We are keen to speak to the owners of the dog or anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident.
