The Bottle Bank is a bar and dining venue in the heart of Belper, describing itself as the town’s only dedicated wine bar. Alongside a curated wine list featuring 40 wines from around the world, it also serves lagers, ales, ciders, spirits and bespoke cocktails.
The food offering centres around a smokehouse menu, with additional wine, cocktail and food menus available. Guests can also explore wine flights, referred to in-house as “wine tapas”, where three wines from the same tier are served as 100ml tasting measures. Low- and no-alcohol options are available, including non-alcoholic wines, beers, ciders, spirits and cocktails.
The venue opened in 2024 following a five-week renovation by owners Sam and Kirsty, during which the original bank vault was repurposed as a wine cellar and a new kitchen was installed.
