We are a group of people from businesses and the local community whose purpose is to develop and support implementation of initiatives which will promote the regeneration of the town of Heanor. We provide practical solutions which will make a positive contribution to people’s lives and provide a vehicle for restoring a sense of purpose, allied to a determination to bring about positive change and economic and landscape regeneration.
We are here for everyone who is part of our community, without exclusion. We are here for the old, the young and the middle aged. We represent everyone regardless of their gender, race, creed, religion, disability or sexual orientation. The importance of engendering and brokering social inclusion is central to our aims because a divided community is a weaker one.
We want to see a community that develops ever increasing civic pride. A community which is self-aware, confident, proud, tolerant, aspirational and supportive of those still striving for those qualities.
