This ex social club was purchased in a derilict state by Pub People almost 10 years ago. A soild refurbishment was completed to convert it to the Davy Lamp, which is now one of Ilkestons best known community pubs.
A host of pub teams, clubs and societies are associated with the pub which together with local and charity activity make it a real heart of the community business.
The bar offers a range of draught lager and bitter and two cask ales, with local microbrewery Dancing Duck being a permanent offering and a range of guests ales frequent the second pump including Blue Monkey, Pedigree and Sharp's Doombar.
Inside there is a games room and a comfortabble lounge available to be booked for private functions, externally the pub offers a car park and drinking area.
