We are a small business operating in Heanor, Derbys.
We first got the idea of a mug-printing business after a friend supplied us with a few printed mugs; being a photographer and a digital image retoucher, the thought was that this could complement a hobby and provide a service to the local community.
The idea manifested itself after seeing a couple of suppliers demonstrating their equipment at a national photography event, at the NEC in Birmingham.
So we then started to collect examples of what we could do, who we could do it for (and weighing up the costs and expected revenue!).
Then a local community facebook page (Love Heanor) started up, shortly followed by a craft fair (Heanor Community Fair) - lots of little businesses together in one room, every month - and the Heanor Community Fair is steadily growing.
We went along to a few fairs, and saw there was a gap for the mug printing - so we did some more research into equipment and products available, canvassed friends and colleagues and got favourable feedback, so here we are!
