The Denby Pottery Village Summer Fête on Sunday 27th July will be filled with fun and games, animals to meet, entertainment, food & drink and lots more - a great day out for the whole family! Here's just some of what we have planned for you: Take a walk with the Alpacas and for children a pony ride; meet some unusual and wonderful animals and birds and Guide Dogs agility trials taking place throughout the day and don't forget to feed the resident fish with their special food at Denby Koi Ponds.

There are stalls offering the best of traditional games with prizes to be won, face painting plus toy maker Brio will have a small pop-up train play area. It you are feeling creative, call into the Denby Craft Studio for pottery painting fun (subject to availability) or enjoy family-friendly wood activities in the Gardens with Swanwick Men's Shed! Alternatively, there will be artwork to buy including characterful Gluggle jugs and candles or take a peek inside the Denby Museum at the special fete price.

Denby is delighted to welcome back local charities too so take a chance on their raffles and tombolas with prizes to be won and help them raise funds too. If all that makes you feel hungry - then you have lots of food options: Bourne's Coffee Shop & Bistro and the Farm Shop Café will be open as usual serving hot dishes, jacket potatoes, vegetarian options, freshly prepared sandwiches and a selection of home cooked cakes and drinks.

Alternatively, there will be the Greedy Pig Butchers BBQ and a selection of local makers and bakers with lovely stalls to browse including jams, cheese, Indian snacks & curry, brownies, cupcakes, doughnuts and phew! cool down with whippy ice cream. Whilst you''re enjoying the Pottery Village Fête, call in at the Denby Garden Stall for your outdoor plants, the Greedy Pig's Butchers has quality locally sourced meats and food tastings in the Farm Shop from Popcorn Kitchen.

In the Denby Shop we are celebrating the 35th Anniversary of Denby's iconic Imperial Blue pattern and see Denby's new ceramics ranges. Don't forget to wander downstairs into the biggest Cookshop in the area with some great brands. To create a great Fete atmosphere there will be performances from Grand Central Chorus at selected times during the day. Dogs are welcome and we recommend that you bring cash with you for some of the activities.
