A supportive, welcoming group for women in the middle of a beautiful ancient woodland. Take time out from the daily routine and enjoy the peace and beauty of the woodland. These monthly sessions can be booked individually, or book the block of 5 sessions for a discount. Each session is based around themes linked to the '5 Ways to Well-Being': Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning, Give.

Each session runs from 11:30 - 2:30. Bring a packed lunch as we will have time for eating and chatting at the campfire. Hot drinks are provided.(You will be ready to leave the woodland car park at 2:30 as we know some of you may need to get back to reality with the school run!)

Session 1: April 18th - Walk and Discover - the curious history of the woodland and the flora and fauna within it. Join us as we take a walk through the woodland, noticing, learning and discovering as we go. We will stop half way for lunch at the fire pit area.

Session 2: May 23rd - Crafting and Connection - spend time around a campfire to get creative with natural crafts. Chats, cuppas and crafts. There will be a few things on offer to have a go at. No artistic skills required!

Session 3: June 20th - Nature Connection Wander - Lots of guided moments of mindful nature connection that we invite you to try as we wander through the woods. A perfect way to really slow down and feel the calmness of the woodland relax and restore you. Stopping of for our packed lunches along the way.

Session 4: July 18th - Woodland Mini Retreat - Nature's very own pamper session! Try a barefoot walk, then revive your feet in the cool woodland stream. Enjoy a guided hand massage with natural creams. Take deep breaths of woodland air as you relax on this lovely chilled out time in nature.

Session 5: August 29th - Fire and Food, Campfire Fuddle! - fire lighting skills and shared campfire cooking for lunch. Enjoy this time to work together, share and connect around the fire. We will provide everything that is needed but feel free to bring along any other treats that you'd like to share.

Please be aware that the woodland paths are uneven, steep in some areas and can be muddy at times. However, on the walk days we keep the pace slow and steady and will adjust the route if needed. We are here to slow down, not rush along! For part of the sessions there is no toilet. It's wild wee behind a tree! But at each session we will spend some of our time at the fire pit area where there is a composting toilet available to use.

There may not be a fire at every session. But we will always have some hot drinks available using the kelly kettle rather than a campfire. Please bring your own packed lunch, although there will be campfire food at session 5. When you book onto any of our Woodland Connections sessions you will receive detailed directions and parking information with your booking confirmation.

Please do refer to these directions so that you do not end up at the wrong end of the woods! There can be instances when we must make a last minute decision to cancel a session. This could be due to high winds or lightening storms. Please check for emails or texts on the morning of a session.

If we must cancel we will offer an alternative date if possible. If this isn't suitable we will provide a full refund.
