Waingroves Community Asociation Appeals For More Active Members
The Community Association are seeking new members to assist with the day-to-day running of the Centre on Church Street in Waingroves.
This includes providing help and support with planning and putting events and general management of the Centre.
During recent months the number of volunteers has reduced.
The Centre is used most days of the week, being used by many social groups from Brownies to martial arts, Council surgeries to pantomimes.
It is an important hub for the village and provides opportunities to volunteer, support community projects and for social activities for both children and adults.
If you can offer some time and / or expertise it would be good to hear from you.
We need your help to keep the Centre open and available for hire.
We meet once a month in the Centre. The next meeting is on Thursday 24th November at 7pm in the Community Centre.
Please contact Lynne Carter by telephone 01773 749809 or by email to ken.waingroves@btinternet.com if you would like more information or if you're willing to help.
