Christmas lights switch on goes virtual! in Alfreton
Although it won't be possible this year to hold the traditional Christmas Event and lights switch on due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the Town Council has exciting plans for a virtual switch on and a number of seasonal activities in the town throughout December.
With less than 7 weeks to go to the planned switch on date, the decision to move away from the usual festivities has been left as long as possible to gauge changing government guidelines, but it is now clear such an event will not be permitted.
Please look out for details of the planned activities and details on how to watch the virtual switch on.
