Residents Free Weekend at Crich Tramway Village
Crich Tramway Village, near Matlock, is to host a weekend offering free admission for residents within 5 miles of the Derbyshire attraction.
The previous Community Weekend, planned for 21st and 22nd October, had to be cancelled due to bad weather causing loss of power across the site. It re-opened again once power was restored on Wednesday 25th October.
As a result, the family attraction, which is home to the National Tramway Museum and offers vintage tram rides, exhibitions and a woodland walk and sculpture trail, will end their 2023 season with the local offer.
Events Manager, Candi Bell, said:
“The free admission to local residents within 5 miles of Crich Tramway Village is a great way to finish the 2023 season and we look forward to welcoming them”.
A list of the areas included in the 5- mile radius can be found at: www.tramway.co.uk/whatson/local-residents-free-weekend
Crich Tramway Village will re-open for the new season on Saturday 9th March 2024.
