Witness appeal after burglary in Belper
Police Officers are appealing for information after a burglary in Belper where several pieces of jewellery and a quantity of money was taken.
The incident occurred between Wednesday 26 July and Monday 4 August, on Rykneild Road, Kilburn, Belper, where they gained entry by breaking the lock of door.
Two of the pieces of jewellery are described as:
- Thistle Brooch with a large Amethyst.
- Crown Derby Rose Brooch and Earrings still in the case.
There were also several pieces of gold jewellery with set diamonds.
Although police do not have pictures of the jewellery someone may recognise the descriptions of the distinctive brooches.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who has information or anyone who was in the area at the time frame and saw anything suspicious, are asked to get in contact with them using any of the below methods and quoting reference: 23000481731
